Copyright has long-lasting and far reaching effects, to control the sharing of information. Tsunami Help understands the copyright is the standard method of protecting intellectual property. However, to make sure that Tsunami Help's efforts are widely available to have the greatest effect, all articles, lists, and documents created on the Tsunamihelp wiki are released to the Public Domain.
Contributing to Tsunamihelp wiki
Be aware that you, as a contributor, are responsible for your contributions. Do not contribute copyrighted material.
Anything and everything you do contribute to Tsunamihelp is released by you to the public domain. This is a bold step; whatever you contribute may be edited and updated, changed, deleted, and or reformatted here.
If you find a copyright violation
Please remove the copyrighted information as soon as you see it, and replace it with {{copyvio}}. This template will announce there may have been a copyright violation, and that the information has been removed.
Copyrighted data does not have to disappear forever. Text may be re-written, reformatted, expanded and updated, or otherwise modified to avoid a copyright violation. You might consider doing this if you have the ability to do so, but please post the {{copyvio}} template anyway as this alerts others so they can remove the copyrighted information from the database.
If you see Tsunamihelp articles posted elsewhere
This is not a copyright violation! Because our articles are released into the public domain others have the ability to republish them. However, please mention it on the copy board, with the url. You could also ask the site to post a link to Tsunami Help as the source of the information.
